    Hi there.

my reason for focussing on the vfr to replace my '06 suzuki boulevard (odo 10'000 miles) is to gain performance, the cruiser is very comfortable and has lots of chrome so it's great to look at, but like most cruiser bikes it lacks in the grunt and handling department. I know that going to the vfr will give me all the performance and power I want but how much of the "lazy day" riding which we all want to do from time to time will be compromized.

Hey Thanks, I just needed a little push im lined up to swap my bike when the white '06 abs that I want comes in a couple of weeks. I will be buying the matching hard bags, any comment on these, are there any other makes that would be better than the factory ones.

it's not going to be a lazy day bike, but it's easy enough to just cruise on. you'll probably do more miles on your new bike than ever before and you can do them sitting up chilling or leaned over in a corner grinning like the joker...
