Hello riders My name is Reggie From Yorktown Va. I have been reading VFRworld for a few years now finally got around to joining. Anyway Im on my 3rd vfr had an 84 vf750f from 94-99 an 86vf1000r from 96-98, Went back to school and couldnt afford 2 bikes and the 750 was cheaper to maintain, but now I wish I still had that 1000. So now Im on a 94 vfr750 I got in 07.Someone from the forum posted pics of the bike they saw on ebay think it said 94 salvage bike.Anyway got the bike a week later. It had a backyard garage paint job and grafix work that looked good from a distance. Paint had runs and stickers had bubbles and not done with a lot of care in placement. So I took it in my garage and redid it the way I wanted.Think it came out a little better. Ill post a few pics before and after. Regx7
welcome to the site. I ride a 98 and it's my favorite bike so far. Mostly I commute but occasionally I ride places and type stories about it. Have fun... oh, I'm Reggie also...
Seriously nice paint! I just recently got a red '94. I want to paint it orange at some point. Cheers!
Hi R7 and welcome, Bike looks beautiful, its obvious that you did paint work, but what about mechanical items, what did you do there? eddie
thanks for the great feedback Actually I got really lucky when I bought the bike. The guy i got it from did everything I would have done to it had I bought it stock. Came with zero gravity double bubble wind shield, two brothers header and carbon fiber canister, first stage jetted, corbin seat, aftermarket shift kit which is suppose to shift quicker but I think it just looks cooler, vortex racing rear sproket,K&n filter, brand new michelin pilots. And he gave me all the stock parts too. So for 3k in 07 I think it was a good deal. The only thing I did was make my own high mount pipe out of some stainless pipe I had laying around and welded it together. Because I couldn't get one even direct from two brothers. Thanks Guys Regx7
