I have with some of the bikes I've owned, but not the Hondas. They don't seem to break.

I've used it in a motel parking lot to adjust the chain slack, but that's it. This is an easy task on a VFR. My brother has a V-Strom and it's a PITA to do on it.

I used mine today to get the body work off to disconnect my smoking wire harness from the stator to the rectifier and then limp the bike home on the battery only. You gotta love Honda's cheap electrical system. I guess at least the bike didn't burn to the ground.

Never had to use it on the side of the road. but I've used it to change my exhaust, o2 eliminators, windscreen, sprockets, and chain (how ever I had to buy a chain breaker for that one). the tools in that kit are just about the only tools i own.

I have used mine a couple of times, but only on other people's bikes. I used the pliers on a BMW who's turn signal fell off. And I used a few other tools on a (shall remain nameless to protect the infamous) to get his luggage rack back together.

The 5th gen tool kit has dang near everything you'd need on the side of the road.

I used mine on a trip this spring to help a Harley rider remove his seat to troubleshoot a brake light issue. Can you believe the seat on a $20,000 bike is held in place with a phillips head screw?????

The tool kit that came with my '98 is great, and pretty much all you need while travelling (other than a tire repair kit). Only problem is getting all of the tools back in the pouch once you take them out. They must expand or something when they hit the air.
