Has anyone machined the tab to allow the handlebars to be pushed out wider? I have a bone stock bike, but I find the angle of the bars to crimp my wrists, I think they would be much more comfy if they were swung out a few more degrees.
    Any comments or suggestions appreciated!

Yup I can still lock the wheel to the side. I took of about 3/16" from the stops, this put my brake and clutch levers about 3/8" from the fairing at full lock. This mod is really worth the effort. I took the bars off and just used a file to take off the excess material. I also used some calipers to make sure I took the same amount of each bar. It really opens up your arms, before the mod I always felt like I was riding with my elbows jammed into my side. It also evened out the pressure across my palms.
