July 15th...5th gen Red on the Blue Ridge Parkway around mile marker 380 stopped

July 15th...6th gen White on the BRP around mile marker 350 headed south

Oh, that's what I get for reading/posting at such an early time in the AM... Mine was a 5th gen also, but I see now this last one was a 6th; oh well.

 

Saw one of the pretty yellow ones just outside of Scappoose on Hwy 30 about an hour ago.

 

Saw a red 4th Gen today waiting to get on Rte. 611 near the south end of the Delaware Water Gap. Rider appeared to be in all black.

I think it was a 750, I saw it in Brookeville OH, McD's off of 70. On Saturday, 7/18. He was leaving as I pulled in on my 6th Gen.

I saw two in Simi valley today........one red and one silver...both 2 up minimal gear

 

nothing wrong with 2 up IMHO ( althoagh it doesnt work for me on my particular bike ), but minimal gear is a sin. Hope they got home safely.

 

I see two almost daily. One 83-84 RWB with a milk crate on the back for storage? usually down Auburn blvd and Antelope.

And a Yellow VFR black gear and white helmet ( looked like drewl for a minute ) passes everyday. Stop in and say hi!

 

saw a 6th gen with one of those aftermarket bodywork fairing sets from china on it. it was the repsol version. i had to look really hard to make sure it was a VFR with the black headlight fairing and all.
gotta tell ya, didn't look too bad from afar. wonder if it was held together with packing tape or did the bolt holes actually line up?
nevertheless, pretty cool. and cruising through my neighborhood heading up san vicente toward sunset blvd.
sadly, he was only wearing one of those spine protector vest things. no arm protection.

 

Red 5th Gen - Tyrone Area of Saint Pete Florida

I was coming back from the bech last night around 9pm or so (7/24) and lo and behold a red Gen5 with a female rider. She had her "Home Gurlz" with her and one was on a Ninja 600 and the other a GSX-R 600. I only stayed with them for about a mile.

 

I saw a red one going up Carroll road today about 9:00. Actually I heard it first as it was coming up behind me.

Just passed two 6th gen VFRs on my way home from work. A silver, with factory baggage, and a gunmetal colored one. The were pulling a goodly sized group of sport tourers down NC Highway 88, in Ashe Co. I gave the group the thumbs up, looked like they were havin' a good time.

saw what appeared to be a 2nd gen, in Wildomar (South CA) across the street from the post office where I dropped off my mail, on monday... Guy nodded at me, but seemed busy so I didn't stop to chat.

 

Red 5th Gen at Quaker Steak & Lube in Greenville, SC this afternoon. Nice bike.

 

I rode alongside a red 4th gen this AM on I-5 North between seattle and Lynnwood WA, I was on the old beat up Black and white 2nd gen with Custom sidecases and a camping pack strapped to the seat.
