I was going to Mid Ohio Vintage Days so I left Houston a day early to get to a Dealer in Ohio that told me he had a 2007 RWB ABS VFR on the showroom floor. Half way up to Ohio, I called him to verify and he fessed up that he could get one in 5-7 days. I won't be in Ohio in 7 days!!!!! I am really frustrated about it, been in Motel room calling Dealers trying to find one on the way back to Houston. All I get is that they are still available from Honda via special order. When I called a Dealer in Houston, he looked into it and said they were still available but the best deal he could make me was $10,800 out the door (includes TTL). I'm still looking, Cheers, Tom

Deals? I too have seen "deals" like to one from Ohio that turned out to be nothing. Where did you/your friend get their bikes? Best I have seen advertised is $8299 for Red non-ABS and $9499 for RWB ABS but takes a week to order it. Have to add TTL (about $700 in Texas). If you know of a new 2007 RWB/ABS in mid America, let me know. Thanks, Tom
Dealer The Dealer is Honda East in Toledo (Maumee). They list them in Cycle Trader, do a search for 2007 VFR, they have quite a few ads for them. They have a disclaimer in their ad that the bikes might not be in inventory which is why I called them last Saturday afternoon. I was told they had two RWBs, one regular, one ABS. I specifically asked them if they had them on site and the answer was YES. When I called them Tuesday morning to tell them I would be there Wednesday morning at 9am, I was told they did not have them but could order one.
Car Dealers, too I won't go into the details, but I was very much jobbed by a car dealer in the same way. Had a wad of cash to pick up my special car on a Saturday morning (called him on Friday night!) and they said it was sold before 11AM. Total BS story, and had me steaming for weeks. RWB 2007 SE are out there. Keep looking! I've seen them for 8k, but that was 2 months ago. E-bay and internet search like crazy if you are serious. If that guy could get one in 5-7 days, it was not coming from Japan. It is sitting in another dealer with a tag on it that says "7,900-Take Me Home" I love that bike, by the way.
