Is anyone else spending less time on the Forums? It seems to me since I have the bike maintained and in good order. We finally have better weather here in Ohio. As much as I love the site and have to deal with the intersting personalities on here, I'd just rather be RIDING the damn things! It just seems that this is the "off season" or am I off base on this one?
I wish I had a cool reason for not hanging out more. But all I can think is that I am a zombie and looking for brains takes up all my time. And I have nothing to show for all of my efforts.
Thanks Drewl. LMAO! Now that's funny! :rofl:ound: I'm with you VFRhusband,I'd rather be out riding than posting on the forum right now. At least one of us is out riding anyway. Just like Drewl I've been keeping myself very busy lately, except I've actually got something to show for all my efforts. Well, sort of..... LOL. Some current pics of my bikes. Some current pics of my basement. Here's a really bizarre pic for you VFRhusband. It kinda looks like you're looking at a bug's skull from the inside doesn't it? Who said VFR's aren't scary.:scared: As you can see from my pics,I didn't get done with the motor work on my Ducati in time for the Corse Superbikes show. Oh well, there's always next year I guess. Another couple of weeks and it should be done. Maybe I'll actually get in some good riding this year afterall.
I am working more to pay for my new bike, way less time for the forum. I havent been on enough to notice if our number of posts and such have been down, but I guarantee mine have been. I'll be back soon. Ride safe til then y'all.
Just been real busy with life too. But don't worry, winters coming and I have some thread idea's that are guaranteed to get out of hand and closed by page two.
I have been deployed on covert missions for a underground sect that specializes in the control and eradication of kudzu. These are strictly black op wet work and I'm trusting you guys to keep quiet. In between these deployments I have been working on identifying the gene responsible for freckles. Also there is my recent book deal, and if I dont get some pages turned in my editor is gonna be pissed. But what I really want to do is direct. In between those things I have been riding my motorcycle and showing up for my day job and going to the lake.
Slider "Test" Norcal: Well, um, I think my 17 y/o daughter summed this up in a text message to me at work last week: "GOOD NEWS DAD! YOUR SLIDERS YOU MADE WORKED!" stosh: killer bikes, and yeah, scarry stuff there!
over all I think people are posting less because its riding season and some people are tired of looking at Help my bike doesn't idle do I have to rebiuld my carbs? threads. now folks can post up a storm about everything and anything...but maybe folks need to do a little research before posting.........
have over 3000 miles on the VFR this year (bought the bike at the end of may) the weather has actually cooperated in Ohio this year, I'm hoping to hit the 5000 mile mark for the season.
