Here's a silly question that popped into my mind last night for no reason...

When you guys/gals roll your bike around the garage or anywhere, do you stand on the left, the right, or straddle the bike? I stand on the left, but I got to thinking that if the bike went past balance point away from me, I couldn't stop it, whereas if I was on the right, the side stand would stop it. I suppose straddling it is the best idea though.

Left side only; nothing else feels right.

The bike won't topple to the right unless you mix drinking wine with drinking beer, as anyone who's done it knows !

I straddle. But at 6' 2", 240#s, I find this "easy". I would guess it depends on an individual's size as to what makes them comfortable.

Left side for me if I had to, otherwise just let the man do it for me. The height and heavy top end just made it awkward for me.

Left side only, not coordinated enough to do the right nor tall enough to straddle :)

Straddle, I can move it around a lot easier and faster that way. I'm 6'3 though so it's easy to stand up and adjust the direction.

Sometimes I will straddle it but most of the time I will stay on the left side. When in doubt, I make the bike lean towards me so it can't fall the other way and then just turn the wheel. Even when I want to put it on the lift or take it down this doesn't give me any problems.
