I'm wondering what other fellow 94 VFR owners are getting mpg on an overall average? My 94 is stock and is around 32 (when running hard) and around 40 (when running at posted speed limits) per tank.

Although my '96 VFR is hardly stock at this point, I'm getting very similiar milage to what you're getting.

Commuting I get around 37-38. Highways or extended rides, 41-43. TBR slip-on, otherwise a bone stock '95.

I'm similar to the above on a stock set-up.
Highs around 42 when going easy.
Lows around 31 when disregarding the law, and keeping it above 6500 RPM.

Oh crazy, I'm seeing on average 46-48mpg, yes you read that right, don't believe me ask Powderecon. he's seen it. I have had a best of 59mpg stuck in 60mph nascar freeway traffic for over 180 miles and a worse of 38 on a track day. One sprinted back road romp saw 42, but on an average, it's in the high 40s maybe it's the Amsoil??? and I tend to know my shift points. I run a Staintune snuf plug out, and a KN air filter with stock gearing. Go figure, I'm happy
