    Hello everyone!

I am getting my bike painted and I had a few questions. I tried the search but came up empty handed.

I need to get all the fairings off my bike. The only issue I have is with the front end where the head lights are and the tank. Could someone please explain to me how to get those off. Also do I need to take out the key and lock for the tank or will the paint guy remove that? If I do have to remove it should I cover the gas tank hole or will the painter know what to do?

    Thank you in advance

FYI......it would help folks out if you provided more info about your bike. For example, model and year. I would highly recommend getting/finding a manual as well.

    Good luck.

Sorry but I assumed since I posted in the 4th gen area that everyone knew it was a 4th gen. My mistake!

Talk to your shooter of choice about these things. That way, there will be (almost) no misunderstandings.
