F4i is a really nice upgrade over stock. But you need to replace the entire front. And you will lose the linked braking. You will end up with 43mm over the stock viffers 41mm forks and you will get compression and rebound adjustments.

I just recently discovered that I have some sort problem with my front end. Probably a bad bearing or something. So I'm looking at upgrade to something else. Right now I'm trying to price up the f4i swap as compared to the rc51 swap.

Two friends and myself are meeting for breakfast at Cracker Barrell in Central Park (FB) tomorrow at 730.

Kickstands up around 830 for a backroad ride south from FB, through Lake Anna area, past Richmond to Goochland, then west on Rt 6 to Afton, VA, to Blue Mountain Brewery (since tomorrow is International Brewery Day). We'll have lunch there and take a tour of the brewery, then head outta Afton and head north along some backroads that parallel Sklyline Dr on the eastern side of the mountain at its base. We'll pick up Rt 20 in Orange and then head back to FB.

It's ~ 250 miles round trip with a spirited pace planned. Anyone is welcome to join.

Jay/BP and whomever else that might be interested. Looking at doing a ride on Sunday. Meeting Sunday morning at the Sheetz in Haymarket. Just meeting two or three of my buddies there if they can make it. They still haven't confirmed yet. I have a couple of routes I would like to ride but if one of my friends shows up he might lead us on a couple nice routes. Pace will be normal run of the mill nothing ballz out. Just looking to get out and ride. Last Sunday I logged 450 miles, hit part of blue ridge, 55, 33, and 211. Don't know that I'm looking to do that again this sunday but I am looking to for a long day. Anyone is welcome and if you dont want to stay the whole day, you can break off at anytime. I'll have my gps so if we need to find a route home for you should have you covered. Post up and let me know if you are interested. Still working out the details with the others.

Hmm.. I am tempted. I won't have the 848 in time, so I guess I could roll the VFR out again.

Brand new member here just saying "Hi". I live on the Rappahannock River between Culpeper and Warrenton. Lots of great roads down here to ride on and I've got a smoker on a trailer big enough for a whole hog. Would like to organize a ride / barbecue sometime if anyone is interested.

"Ciscokid"? Are you from the old country? Have you met Harrison Ford yet? Hey wait... by my calculations you should be way too old to be riding a motorbike.

Matt, I got all my work on the bike done but I am sore from head to toe. I am not sure I will be there tomorrow. I might not be able to get out of bed. I hate being old.

Sorry for the late post. Meeting at the Sheetz in Haymarket at 10. Look for the group with 3 09 r6's, one 929, one beat up vfr, and one 675. All good riders. Not exactly sure how the day is going to pan out. Originally I was going to lead a ride but then it turns out some others already had something. So I'm tagging along for that.
