    Hi all,

I am new to this message board, but I already have a question. I am looking for a website that will allow me to buy a few different types of bolts for my 1990 vrf 750.

I purchased it about 2 years ago, and at the time, it was missing quite a few bolts. I figured it's about time I replaced them.

Anyone know a good website that will allow me to order different types of bolts for my VFR?

    Thanks,

    Todd

How about going to you local Fastener supply store and pick some up there.

Brafasco and fastenal are some local places here in the toronto area.

You will end up getting the for cents instead of mucho $$$$.

The choices are very limited here.. very small town... hard to find anything that's not 100% standard.. do any of those places in toronto have a website?

This is not about the bolts, ..... but those pesky little nylon clips that help secure the fairing panels together.

When I bought my '04 used from a Honda dealer, many of them were broke or missing after the "first service".

I replaced them with hardware obtained from the local "Auto Zone" parts store. I got a whole package of different sizes for about the same as one single clip from the Honda dealer.

Further more, it seems like a better design with a screw release rather than the "push-and-pull-and-hope-you-don't-break-it" design that Honda had installed.

So far they have been on for about a year and over 8,000 miles of fast freeway driving, .... no problems, .... and I have lots of replacements on hand.

Life is good in the fast lane!
