I try to wave at all passing motorcycles also, when safe to do so (missed one the other day, tried to nod, cause I was in the middle of a shift, felt bad afterward). A few don't wave, I guess more proportionately HD riders, but I hadn't really thought about it until now. But prob 80% wave back. Hardly ever see Bimmer's or scooters.
We're not all on the same ride. Those HD folks don’t want to be waved at by me. I’ll be surprised by receiving a wave about point-oh-oh-one percent of the time. Goldwingers are the same – except even less likely to wave. Maybe an occasional pillion rider might wave. “Must be new”, I figure. I wave at sportsbike riders when I’m on the road leaving town or on the road leading into town. I can see a smile behind each face shield. :smile:
