Greetings Guys. I am about to take the 3rd gen on a trip from Minneapolis to Niagara Falls. Should be an awesome ride but I am looking for suggestions for destinations/routes that you guys have been on. We plan on going up and over Lake Michigan through Sault Ste. Marie and continue east through Sudbery Ontario and down south to the Falls (roughly 1100 miles). The dilema is which route to go back? We don't want to retrace our path but we would like to avoid the tollways south of the lakes. Also, we would like to stay close to 1000 miles on the way back. Any ideas? Thanks, Joe
Provincial Parks Hey mnvfr, there are a number of provincial parks along the way, if your into camping that is... The one I liked the most was Killbear just outside of Parry Sound. If you want to book a camp site, the link is OntarioParks.com. Heres a map... After Buffalo, you can go south on the 62 instead of west on the I 90, then west on the 39 and 20.
Thanks Dark_Raevin, Camping is as enjoyable to me as the riding is. I will definitely check out Killbear if it works with our schedule.
