Better far as I'm concerned because i was out in the air, not behind a sheet of plastic, and i didn't have to sit up and feel my arse burn. Thats what does me in on a lot of bikes.
I burn less fuel, he held more..range is fine.
curves? they both capable of more than we can use.
Power..i am quicker..its not far behind.
Luggage? I carry more than I need, he carries a truckload.
Comfort? well, i have done a couple 2300km non stop days on the vfr and coulda gone longer but ended up at home..:)
I have driven his st13 a fair bit, and It is my choice of bike over to the fjr1300 I had if i would ever go back to the big tankers. I won't ever no more tho! :)

Thanks for this post, looks like you put some effort into it. Great pics as well. Riding is pretty good out this way. If you find yourself doing a similiar route again and don't mind a third for the Colo portion, hit me up. I would be happy to show you guys a few routes that you may not consider based on a map.

Glad you had a good time and a safe ride, Thanks again.
