After looking at bikes on this website for the past 1 1/2 years, I finally have mine looking good enough to post.
Last summer I bought some HRC Race Pipes built by Mike Velasco and put on my bike. Probably louder than I want, but sounds mean.
I also picked up a keim full fairing made for the 83 vf750f in Germany, that was purchased in 1986 and shipped to me unused in the original box sent to the US from Germany. I put the fairing on last summer and drove it till Oct. without painting.
I had the bike painted last winter and picked it up in May.

The paint sceme looks good, cool fairing. Is the engine stock?
I haven't seen front cylinders/rear cylinders split exhausts before. It would be great if someone would find a cool exhaust like this and copy it for everyone with rusted out collectors.

    4-2 exhaust

The Kerker set I scored takes the front 2 cyls. to the left and the rear 2 clys. to the right. Have a friend with an '83 with a Supertrapp system that is the same. This stuff is out there still but I guess you just have to get lucky to find it.

Put my bike on ebay yesterday. Looking at this old post makes me feel bad. Have to sell since I got a new 08CBR1000rr two months ago. When the dealer delivered my new CBR with 1.5 miles I was drooling over it and he asked if he could go into my garage to see the '83 interceptor. The first time back on it after a couple of weeks of driving the new one, I wondered why I'm getting rid of it. VF sounds nice. Have links to sound clip of HRC pipes now. Two years ago I installed HRC Race pipes built by Mike Velasco for a Jim Granger mid 80's race bike, they make the V4 sound like a small block Chevy with a fat cam. Exhaust can be heard along with drive by on you tube at http://www.youtube.com/user/daelkman54#p/a/u/0/WoZL3PU3RIo, http://www.youtube.com/user/daelkman54#p/a/u/1/U8PFHKXV8xE, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKIfkFfmPvg (first start up of the day with choke), and http://www.youtube.com/user/daelkman54#p/a/u/2/G_JPUbv44mo. I purchased the fairing on ebay two years ago still in the original packing as shipped from Germany in 1986 and paid $900 to paint the fairing last year. It is an aftermarket full fairing manufactured by Keim in Germany.
