Long story short, I was in a '99 VFR and went to an '05 Busa - loved it! Wanting to do more two up riding, I recently picked up a Kawa C-14. However, I am finding I don't do the two up riding I intended to do and am considering going back to more of a sport bike with better ergos.

Advice, please....I either want to get back into a 6th gen VFR or the latest Hayabusa. I am struggling - help!

I really can't draw a line between those bikes; they're way too different to be deciding between IMHO.

Though, I will put in a shameless plug for my bike. 07 FZ1, R1 Power with Standard ergo.

I commute on this bike daily, bought it with 9k miles in september of last year. At 25.5k miles on the ODO at this moment.

BTW, I do a lot of 2-up as well.

uh....the VFR would be the better of the two.....(of course your gonna hear that here) but as far as wieght and Insurance the VFR is the better deal....you would know the insurance after owning both..just my guess thats all. but IMO go with the VFR

Thanks all. I realize we have two different machines here (HP diff), but having had both, that's really the only place I feel it is in the ooomph. Slight ergo advantage to VFR, but for my 150 mile rides and under, not much diff. Just wanted some opinions.

The 7th gen VFR. It will be sporty 1200, with decent ergos. Hopefully they will keep the price at a Honda value level.
