I follow the bike market pretty closely here in Chicago; If it has under 10k miles, with the stock paint, you could maybe get $1500 for it.. But it's not worth anything to collector if it's been repainted, or modified. Your average rider is going to be comparing it to a <$2000 90s F2 and will be all like wtflol. $1,000 is probably where you'll find yourself unless you're dealing with collector status. All that being said, there's a sucker born every minute! =D

HA HA HA HA HA HA

    I heard about that, funny.

In all seriousness, Matt's bike is probably worth in the $2000-2500 range considering what he's done to it.

Matt, you could probably get more for your bike if you stop being lazy and put some tank decals on it

    Regards,

I see a tail of the dragon ride in your future!! There's always photographers there and you can check them out online at places like killboy.com photos - The Original Photographer from US129 Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap US129 Photos - Your Source for Photos from the world famous Tail of the Dragon and dealsgap.com, Deal's Gap, North Carolina information guide, The Dragon, US Hwy 129, Great Smoky Mountains

Only caveat is to try to get there on a weekday and do a scout run first for cops before hauling butt!

I'm sure there is some flexibility here, but where did you get your stainless brake lines? I know Russell makes some, but what specs do you ask for? I guess I have to go and measure, unless some other VF500 owner has the specs and can share! =D Or, if there is a place I can buy pre-cut VF500 specific stainless brake lines, I'd prefer that.

Plus I don't think anyone's got the balls to do it... just imagine a steel pipe hurtling at you around 50 mph, that'll make your arse pucker up!
