Well I picked up my 95 a couple months ago, love it. One quick question (of course), I've noticed if I ride bare handed, after a half hour or so my right hand gets a little numb. The clip-ons don't really seem to shake, but I guess they must a little. Is this normal?

I seem to remember someone saying that numbness on the throttle hand can be caused by the carbs being out of synch, and thus, causing a slight vibration at the throttle grip.
    Anyone else?

Hi Tom. First let me welcome you to the group. It's good to have you here.

There is some vibration, even through clip ons and probably many reasons, some natural, some not. Try loosening your grip just a bit, i.e. - no death grip. Sometimes I find that I grip the bars to tight and my hand starts to get a little tingly. Are your grips stock grips? You might try some gel grips. I havea set of Pro Grips on mine (came with the bike), so i cannot really compare to stock but it most likely is an improvement. I pretty much always wear gloves. There are very rare instances that I do not, but I find a good set of comfortable gloves can help as well.

I have tried loosing my grip, but it didn't help much. I am getting good gloves *hopefully* for christmas, my old ones wore through. I have stock grips. Thanks for the help though.

Must agree with what vman38 pointed out.A set of pro grips and a good pair of gloves will help forsure and remember death grips our for Vulcans.

hey tom. welcome to the group. I get a little numbness sometimes also, but like everyone said, I use gloves and progrip gelgrips. They are about $10 at the local dealer and install in a couple minutes. The gloves I use were actually from ebay and I got them for about $30 which I thought was pretty good for joe rocket armored race style gloves... even with these and not gripping tight, somtimes I feel some tingling, I just speed up for a sec then coast and drop my right hand don low to get some blood quickly... It helps.
