    2 week check in

OK, I have had the bike for 2 weeks now. I love it, and these are the mods done so far:
    • ZG DB smoke Windscreen
    • Mirrors with integrated LED turn signals
    • Hard wired radar detector
    • RAM tank bolt mount for my Garmin Nuvi 765T
    • Hard wired power (keyed) for GPS
    • Garage door openers in inner fairing (wired in to small black momentary switches)
    • 6000K HID headlights (low beams only)
    • LED light kit for faining openings, and wheel wells
    • Tail eliminated
    • Flapper valve block off plates
    • ventura pack rack & sport rack
    • Buell Ulysses pegs (with lowered shifter & brake pedals)
    • LED license plate bolts (came free with the LED kit, so why not)
    • crampbuster
    • clear tank protector
    • Battery Tender with under seat quick connect

And the best thing yet that I have done for my bike................
I took the MSF class this past weekend. Yes, there is a lot of basic stuff, but it really was a lot of fun, and if just 1 thing saves me and or the bike, then it was well worth it. (it was worth it for the instructors letting me scrape the crap out of the footpegs on their nighthawks anyways.:) The instructors were great about letting you have a lot of fun if they could tell that you had the excercise down.

The most rewarding part of the class was when the instructors did not believe that I had only been riding for 10 days prior to the class, until my buddy in the class confirmed it for them. I keep telling people that spending 200 - 300 miles a week on your bicycle teaches you the majority of what you need to know / prepare for to ride a motorcycle, but no one believed me:)

So my question is, is there some kind of official recognition before I start making shirts, stickers, and other swag? Cause if not we talking:

Can 6thgen folks this side of the pond join in? I'd be up for forming a European Alpine regiment.

    rwb = really wet butt
    rude white brothers
    racoons with braces
    rub with bacon
    real wide burm
    ride without braking
....and so on, and so forth...
But, the one that I think you are looking for is Red White Blue. Referring to the 25 anniversary, 2007 red white and blue Honda VFR 800 Interceptor.

Thanks, I DO like "raccoons with braces".
I have been really involved in kidsports and college stuff, and aside from an 81 500 cx custom (payment for a debt), and my neighbor's Super Magna, and his wife's vtr250, (everyone else has gotten Harleys:crazy:) I've had almost no contact with bikes for about ten years, what with being a soccer referee and a volunteer ski coach for a kid learn to race program. On the bright side, I'm now pretty good at slalom:eek: for a 60+ old guy.
