OK tried 50 different ear plugs and finally tried the BioEars Soft Silicone Earplugs

Drum roll 3.99 !!!! for 3 reusable pairs!!

Why I like them? Solid enclosure and won't slip away when trying to wear your helmet.Extremely effective.I spent close to 70 dollars on different plugs but this one sold me.Its soft Silicone jell which stick to your ear and does not matter shape of your ear since it is soft and mold to your ear unlike foam.

Your local Drug store like Osco drug whatever will have them.

I took a ride with 33 Decibels rated foam plugs and soft silicone even though rated lower felt quieter and more comfortable. You don't even notice when riding. You can hear everything normally but dangerous noise is down protecting you from permanent hearing loss.

Thought to share with my bros.

Thanks! I'll have to give these a try. Noise protection while riding is SO important. Something that too many might overlook.

I started using earplugs fairly recently after reading about hearing loss on the forum and "listening" to the post which had sound file links to helmets demonstrating the amount of wind noise they let in. I recommend trying ear plugs while riding at least once. I found that I can focus on riding so much better when using ear plugs. I didn't really notice how distracting the noise was until I tried it. I'm also now thinking about buying a new, quieter, helmet.

I'm still trying different ear plugs and will def. add these to my list.

Anytime I think I will ride faster then 40 I wear ear plugs. The bio ones are so easy that I walk and wear same time and no time loss.
Benefits also you can hear your exhaust music better and traffic noise better.

Custom ear plugs, made specifically for the shape of your own inner ear, are around $60.00.
