"Will it be available in the US?" If this bike is not coming to the US, I for one will go to my local Honda Dealer, lie on the floor, kick my feet and hold my breath until they do. I might ever crap my pants too. So there. Neener neener.

If that's the new VFR, I'll be holding onto my 6G for a long time...

If that is truly the bike...I am SOOOOOOO glad I decided to build my own 6.5g. That thing is heinous. The bulbous fairing and the caliper carrier area made me throw up in my mouth.

I think the one in the SPIED link looks really cool. I'm digging the inverted forks and the cleaned-up swingarm. I'm not liking the displacement, though. Insurance is gonna be high comparable to an 800cc. As far as the shape goes, I can see the VFRness of it. It looks proportional to our current VFRs, not as big as the BMW 1200 tourers.

The 1200 cc displacement is a dealbreaker for me, though.

Think I'll reserve judgment to the final product, the test mule may be camouflaged.

Very interesting, I like the size, riding position, big front brakes and general look and assume production bikes with graphics will look even better. Not keen on shaft drive but would not be surprised if it is really well sorted. With 1200cc it is gonna be a strong pulling bike from 70 to 80 mph, something I like. It looks to have a normal shifter which is good and as a sport touring bike (the type I prefer) this could be a real great bike. I also agree that it has BMW styling queues. I see a lot to like here and most of my fears are either gone or in ‘will hold judgment’ mode.

Note on styling: it appears that the front headlight is 2/3rds covered in black to throw off spies like us.

Fugly, big, and generally disappointing. Fortunately these are just spy shots of a hopefully camo'd bike. We'll know soon enough...
