What do guys who have packing in your pipes use. I would like to quite it down a little.

Anybody use the stainless steel wool stuff? I currently am using fiberglass wrap.

Does anyone know whats quieter a tight pack job or a loose one?

I relize this post is begging for it, so lets hear those comments:tongue:

I immediately clicked this link, only to find its about motorcycle stuff. I feel like this is gonna turn into an old Ren and Stimpy episode.

I do love Ren and Stimpy.Shall we change the thread name to muffler madness?:crazy:I would think tight if for no other reason than to retain the packing.

I repacked my Two-Brothers cans with their fiberglass packing kit. Total it was like 40.00 bucks. Pretty easy and straight forward.

Its' also when I got a taste of their really crappy service.

As far as a "tighter" wrapp? That is all in how you wrap the core. I had a hell of a time getting the cores's back in cuz I wrapped them up good per the directions. I think that all depends upon how much packing YOU use.

What rolls down stairs, alone or in pairs, Rolls over your neighbor's dog? What's great for a snack and fits on your back?
