Hi guys, just picked up my 06 model and about to do o2 eliminators but i cant get any 1/4 watt resistors, smallest they carry is 1/2 watt. Can i run these or is it a no go. Im not much chop with the electricals so any help would be appreciated. Sutto, Sydney, Australia

Pretty much anything you can do with a 1/4 watt resistor you can use a 1/2 watt resistor in it's place without trouble. The wattage rating of the resistor just says how much current the resistor can handle before it burns up.

The bike only reads the resistance of the resistor, so it being 1/2 watt vs. 1/4 watt just means you've got a bunch of current handling capacity that'll never get used (but what your bike "sees" will be right).

Thanks for your reply, ill stick them in tommorrow and see how it goes. I still have my 2000 model with staintune pipe and it goes much better than 06 model at this stage.
