2 trips to SEA this month don't leave much "at home" time.

I still intend to head that way - maybe in the fall B4 the snow & after the motorhomes.

I just heard about this from Toe Cutter, sixweeds im just down the road from you! I am going to talk to the wife tonight and see what the schedule looks like. If its ok with you gents, I will more than likely at least be able to make some part of it but I doubt I can do an overnighter, alot of crap going on all at once here. It would be pretty kick @$$ to meet you guys though so ill work on it!

well im pretty much out, no sitter. thats what I get for getting my hopes up . If I would have read this a few weeks ago and been able to plan ide be fine but like an idiot I didnt explore all over the board.

Number one slacker reporting in. I spoke with Bweiss last night and am planning on half day at work on Friday and riding out with him from his house on hwy 49. Thats the plan ....work will have to go along with plan though.Fingers crossed....will show up a few hours late at worst.No need to plan on sleeping space for Toxic as he said he will snuggle with Bweiss.:thumbsup:

 

Do i not get a say on whom toxic snuggles with? I got the top bunk bro! I don't need it to break halfway thru the night!

 

I'm taking my Dad out dirt biking for Father's Day, so no street riding for me this weekend. I'll be right off HWY88 though which sounds like is part of the route (Caples Lake area). You guys see a silver extended cab Ford F-250 and a white trailer with Yamahas that's me. Stop by, I'll have drinks and food I'd be happy to share. (also all kinds of tools and maintenance stuff, hopefully you guys don't need that though).

 

Sure wish I could join you guys. I lived in Stockton until 2005, and have ridden pretty much all of the roads you're covering. It's possible I'll get up that way later in the year, or possibly next spring. When I do, I'd love to ride with anyone who is available. I hope you guys have a great weekend. Ride safe!

Sierra Mountain Road Rally I

Otay, Panky, ready or not...here we go. I'm back safe and sound from the High Sierra Horse Pack trip with my buds. It was a blast! A real journey back in time.

It's Thursday before noon and I'm gonna take my wheels off and get a set of new skins within the next hour. So far, It's gonna be Bweiss, ToeCutter and Toxic Shock from Sactown. I guess you're arriving tomorrow (Fri) evening sometime. Give me a PM and I'll give you my cell number so you can let me know what time. We can go to one of Sonora's many fine eating/watering holes and afterwards come back here and sit around the fire with some cold ones. If it's just you three, we'll sleep outside under the stars on camping cots...if that's okay with you all. I have plenty of sleeping bags. Indoor bathroom facilities are close by.

We'll plan to leave around 7-8 on Saturday morning and we can stop for coffee and a smoke for those who like, and wait for lunch with Drewl in Carson City. I haven't checked, but if anyone has the time, can you find out how far/long to Carson from Sonora via the Sonora Pass and 395? I'm guessing 4-5 hours if we ain't in too big a hurry with pit/photo/smoke stops. That would put us in Carson around noonish to meet up with Drew. He said it's 2 hours from Susanville to Carson, so once we know how long it will take us, we can call him and give him an ETD (estimated time of departure) to arrive in Carson City when we do. By the way, I'd like to stop by Feather River College for some photos on the way back on Sunday. My daughter wants to attend there in a few years.

Get back to me and Drew and let us know your final, difitive plans...
