    like always......
needed a R/R in a hurry, so I ordered one for the 2000 VFR - THINKING (aha!...there's the problem!) that it would fit my 1999 VFR. bought it at a dealership AND paid extra for overnight shipping.:rofl::tclaw:

    So - Bottom Line -

I have a R/R abosfrickinlutely new - still in the bubble wrap - that i don't need. Maybe you don't need one either...........yet.

lemme know if you're interested. I'm into this one way too much. they list for like ....$140 - $150 + freight & tax - best price i've seen, anyway.

    ouch.

    nah.....

    it's the Regulator / Rectifier.
somewhat notorius on VFR's of a certain vintage. if they fail, the battery runs down pretty quickly & doesn't recharge. long term abuse can involve the Generator or wiring harness.
