I live about three miles from the Oregon Oyster Farm. Does soaking the oysters in buttermilk make the shells soft enough to chew?

:crazy:well you are to assume the oyster are shucked already before frying them...ok crawfish half onion diced, two green onion diced, two shallets diced, 6 cloved garlic diced, salt pepper tablespoon,2 tablespoons of creole or cajun seasoning, suate in olive oil until soft, add pealed crawfish tails simmer until cooked about 5-7 minutes. then pour over dirty rice or white rice.. this one rocks as well....:thumbsup::thumbsup:

These burgers blow my mind... we came up with this just last weekend.

    Seasoning:

    3 tsp garlic salt
    4 tsp onion powder
    3 tsp seasoning salt
    4 tsp mccormick meat tenderizer

    - sprinkle on before cooking, both sides, grill.

    Spread:

    Mix equal halves of:
"Kraft Reduced Fat Mayonnaise with Olive Oil"
    "Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard"
Spread it on the top-side of the bun. Goes great withy lettuce and tomato. A slice of Kraft Monterey Jack - complements it even better.

OMG...so good, gotta try - you'll be suprised!!
These make for the best burgers!!

Our Mexican Friends showed us this one, and we took it a step further.

    French's or any Plain Mustard
    Seasoning Salt

...mix it in a bowl to be basted on chicken. Basically it's a lot of mustard, lightly seasoned with the seasoning salts, and adding in just a bit of oil so the msutard won't entirely dry out. Also, leave the skin on the chicken - tastes way better this way!! Grill it up, charcoal is best, otherwise try to keep it on a good spot on the grill if propane - cause it takes a good 20 minutes to cook. Baste it a second time halfway through.

This stuff blows my mind too, it's that good!! Enjoy!

For those long days on the road, these keep for months.

20 packages of Top Ramen. Shrimp, Chicken, Beef or Oriental flavor. It doesn't matter. The flavor packet is disposed of. Top Ramen can sometimes be found on sale for a little as a dime a package.

One loaf of WonderBread with the crusts trimmed.

Assemble as sandwiches and wrap in wax paper.

Serve with Big Red or at the end of the day with Ripple.

For dessert, a Moon Pie or a Hostess Twinkie is suggested.

For those of y'all that are not aware, this Chili was the overall grand prize winner in the "Somebody has way too much time on thier hands" Chili contest held annually in Mudstomp, Alabama.
