Hey there! Very cool site! I am a new VFR owner. I have a 98 VFR800 now! So far, I pretty much think it is the greatest motorcycle of all time! Once upon a time I had an 85 Honda 700S (Nighthawk) which I quite liked, and I've had some other crap too, an old KZ and some other junk. When I began looking at the Haynes manual the guy gave me who I bought my bike from, I began to realize just how much more advanced this VFR was than anything I've had previously. It's nice to know that there is a site like this for idiots like me! Rock on! When I get the bike all shiny I will post some pics. So far, all my free motorcycle time has been spent riding. -JDW

You got a great bike. I too had an 85 700sc nighthawk and while I had it I liked it a lot. Compared to the vfr it is way behind though. I sold it to my dad but still ride it now and again. The vfr is awesome. Would not go back. Have fun and see you around eh.
