Congrats, best model (apart from a 99).

I'd have a good check of the tyres, if they are original they could be well past their use by date.

Welcome! Are you sure it's not a 2001? I thought all the 2000's were yellow? Either way, nice find and enjoy!!

    Nice, I just got a 99 with 37k and paid $5000 cnd.

Question, do you live in the states? If so do you want to change your speedo to miles? If so PM me, my bike has a U.S. speedo and I would like to change it back to a Canadian one (with km's bigger than Miles).

    Congrats on the find.

Hi Rich, VERY nice machine, has your bike been repainted? I dont think Honda used red
for their Y2K Canadian VFR's, What is the paint code? The frame tag may say 2000
but, in reality it may be a year 2001. You should also have your Vin number checked.
In reality it dosent much matter if its a 2000 or a 2001,the bikes are nearly identical so except for us fanatics it really dosent matter if its a 2000 or 2001. good luck with her. eddie

Yes it's a 2000 we got red in 2000 in Canada. It's never been repainted. I'll look at the serial number and paint code latter this week because I'm out of town right now.

I hear he is getting out of jail soon. He is going to be pissed when he sees his bike is gone. You should hide it in my garage until things blow over. ;) Nice find.
