I got my first flat the second month I had the VFR which was my first motorcycle.

Good Part...Luckily I noticed it on campus before I got out of the 25mph zones. The bike stalled on me as I was manuevring slowly through the parking lot. Thought it was odd, until I realized my steering was f***ed up. Must have happened as I was riding out of the parking lot of a dorm that was under renovation. Went from a full rear tire to a flat rear tire in less than 10 minutes!!

Bad Part...stranded on empty college campus two weeks before school started at 3am on a Sunday morning and almost 70 miles from home. It was a long 5 hours before my dad could bring my truck over to pick me and the bike up.

    I hope it's my one and only.:ninja:

Lucky, you obviously don't ride on well shagged Piliot Powers in the wet.

Two sets of Dunlops and Michelin Pilot Road2's as we speak. And your right. I haven't run on ragged tires. I can't afford that risk as the vast majority of my riding is freeway speeds +. I change tires soon as they are needed. Lots of tread always left on the shoulders but the center is smooth.

And I do get wet. I have developed webbed feet. Rains 13 months of the year here.
