Alright Viffer Legion, this Saturday, May 30th, is supposed to be warm and sunny. How 'bout we get a group together and ride at a rapid pace through some twisties? Nothing crazy, just good clean fun! Maybe end up at Bubba's in Eureka or RIVERTOWNE in Ozark, setting at the ham hock of the Infamous Pig Trail?
    WHAT SAY YOU?

I got up at 7am this morning and headed out by myself down to Mt. Magazine and back. I've got chores to do around here for the rest of the day. How about tomorrow???

Wife caught me sneaking out with my gear, ended up working on that 2 year old patio project I've been meaning to get to. RATS. We still ended up going to Bubbas to put the smackdown on some great ribs, just drove the old Jeepster. Probably just as well, because what I didn't realize was that there were going to be 50 cazillion HOGS in the road. Turns out there was a Harley owners convention or something in Rogers and a Blues fest in Eureka. I've never seen so many couches with wheels. Traffic kind of sucked. IMHO, it's embarrassing when motorcycles are the ones slowing down traffic. There's just something wrong (not to mention dangerous) with that whole gig.
We did meet about 8 sportbikes heading down the Dam (Beaver) Road, I'm sure they had good time.
Not sure on tomorrow, may end up doing a slow ride somewhere with mama and some neibs.
We've just got to plan a date. We've got at least 5 or 6 bikes in just this area alone, and I can probably grab a couple of neibs with an R1 and a 600.

I was just reading a CA thread where they put 10 bikes together for a ride up Big Bear tomorrow. THAT would be some kind of fun!

    Catch you later TV.

Guys I am on vacation from the 11th to the 25th. I have some ball games sprinkled around in there but I should be able to get some riding in.

Sounds good Lear31, maybe a late afternoon ride during the week would work? I'm tied up next weekend doing a 50th wedding anniversary for the in-laws.

That CA Big Bear ride I mentioned above turned out to be not so fun for those guys. 20 minutes in and Vifferever smacked a guardrail real hard and is in the hospital with a fractured skull, fractured vertebra, lots of facial contusions and a torn up right arm. That was with FULL ARMOR! Amazingly enough his prognosis is good! Would have been dead without his gear. ATGATT...
His name is Dean. Keep him in your prayers.

We'll keep Dean in our prayers. I am an advocate of ATGATT, I can hardly bear to go out with any flesh exposed.

I would be up for a late afternoon run. I would love to set aside a Saturday this month to get an epic ride in. 479-366-0478 when you are ready.

Is everyone in hibernation already? I have been out of the scene for some time due to family obligations but am ready to hit the road again.

I'm still here  I ride all the time, just usually either alone or with my friend Brian on his VTX1300.
