The place I got them from was the US distributor for them, Steelecycle in Denver (I think). When the sealed (from Delkevic) box came it only had the one clamp. You probably will have better luck from the maker than I did from the distributor.

I presume that I don't need to remap with this slipon (i.e. fork out for a PwrCmd!) right?

Does it run ok without any adjustments? (i don't mind the odd bark/burrbble when coming down the rev range )

    Cheers

Delkevic Stainless Headers Great Value Too.

It appears that the silencers are as good a value as the stainless header pipes that these guys sell. Here is a couple pictures after installation on my 5th Gen. Took a little time to mount correctly but for the $$$$ it's hard to beat. Plus the customer service of Delkevic in Colorado (Luke in particular) was great. And yes they do include stainless rear pipes too.

ok...my 350mm SS is on the way!! I did ask for a discount but no joy...maybe 'cause they are at such a good price anyway. Id did however get an extra clamp thrown in and he assured me it would fit!

Hi bill. They don't do a high mount but i'll get the father in law to fabricate something!

I won't be able to do the install till Sunday as I have to travel back home for a wedding. Typical!! Can't wait to try her out! But I did have a quick look inside the bix...looks very nice and high quality. I was impressed with the delivery..ordered on Friday...arived Tuesday!

I'll take lots of pics and put 'em up on Sunday.

Can anyone tell me the size of the inlet of the midpipe (outlet of the header)? I just bought a 4-1 header for my first gen and I need to source a midpipe and muffler, if this would work it would be great.

Finally found the time to do the install!...soz about the delay.

Anyway, overall I am happy with the stubby 350mm from Delkevic. Nice sound (raspey and fruity!), nice looks, good finish on the slip-on...BUT!...

1)Even though I stressed this point when I ordered: they STILL managed to send me the wrong size clamp for connecting mid pipe to down pipe! I couldn't believe it! Sales guy sincerely apologized and said something about having a wrong clamp size chart which needs to be updated..whatever! I sorted it myself by getting a spurious clamp from my local dealer. Not too much hassle.

2)The welded 'bracket' which is meant to accept the rubber center stand bumper is too large for the standard bumper where you push through the round connection piece at the top. This results in the bumper being loose and moving too freely when you kick the center stand up. I sorted it with a black cable tie...dirty fix but worked well and it is only visible to the trained eye!

Last thing...I have some nice pics but having problems uploading them...it takes too long! Any suggestions? Maybe email them to someone who can host them somewhere for me or maybe the upload on vfrworld doesn't take so long for others....

    Cheers,
    G

Considering these bikes run hot will the lack of a catalytic converter make up for the lack of double wall downpipes?

What are the benefits of replacing the headers?
How much weight can we lose?
