I think I have a plan that does not require cutting holes on the plastics. I'm gonna start on it tomarrow after after work.

OK.... I thought I had a handle on this but NOTHING WORKS! There is just no damned room on the frame for a 'clean' mounting of sliders. I am thinkng about mounting on the engine at the base of the forward head or is this an epic Bad Idea?

I'd have to see exactly where you're talking about. You want something sturdy and durable. I'd be cautious about mounting near a head, if it cracks you now have bigger issues at hand, again a drawing or pics would help. There were a few different kits out there and they all required cutting the fairings. I believe that some even had a modification for the radiator overflow bottle, or a completely new bottle all together. Do a search for "frame sliders" and see what you come up with, I'm sure there's something out there...

    Faled Ideas

OK, Plan A, B, and C failed. I have a plan D... But it has to wait till after work tomarrow. There is a factory hole in the frame above the coil that I think may help me out. i will post pics of my failed ideas at this time..This was my stupid attemp to place sliders on an engine, not a frame surface, Hooaha! Damn my head hurts...

metal bending friends are a must in this case... I am going to do the same thing. subframe and main frame.... am actually thinking of making a cage around that will clear the road as well. why not if the tires melt in the corners then there has to be a cage for this bike too right? inlines can't be the only ones with those options!!! LMFAO

***what about the mainframe right below the plastics*** there looks to be a spot on both sides in the same exact area. Plus on the rear subframe there are numerous bolt areas.... I know I know the plastics are in the way.... I'll do it and post pics before the cut, after the cut, and before the paint procedures.... I promise you'll like it!

 I got it. Ended up with a set of holes but they are outta the way in the vent of the mids plastics. Will sand the sliders down and paint them black tomarrow but the build is done. AND THEY WORK!

I'm going to do it! LOL I just realized it looks like a peg for grinding on BMX... so when I do this, I'm using DK TI if I go down it'll make great show as well as a scene :)
