First Street Bike

    hi there everbody i was in my local honda dealer this morning looking at the 09 VFR800 they only had the gray one in the store but they are going to get me the white and black one with the white rims(sweet bike) its going to be my first street bike,im riding a drz400sm right now just got my licence on it,great bike around town but no highway balls at all!! The 09 is around $15.000 a little pricey but i love the bike should i buy it??? ...Mark P.s Im 6"2 200lbs and i have never been in a forum before ever and i suck on the computer so i hope i can find my way back here!! LOL

    first street bike, 400sm right now great bike around town but no highway. I guess your town has dirt streets??:crazy:gray one 09? kewl go for it..:thumbsup:

    Hey Mark, welcome to the forum and YES YES YES get it. We need more local VFR's.

    I'm 6'1" 220 and fit on it nicely. If ya have long arms then the ride position is super comfy. Looking forward to seeing that color, she's gonna be pretty. :thumbsup:

    Which dealer...? When I got mine I shopped around and it was worth it. Got a decent deal with an extra year warranty. Still very pricey as per US prices but manageable.

    Dual sports are great to learn on but yes if you want some real road time the VFR is very nice. Another option is to look into an '07 RWB, there are still some available at last check and they have very steep discounts going on them, like maybe $8k or so iirc?

    That does sound like quite a bit for the times we live in. Bought my 07 last September for 9100.I would haggle ......maybe worse.:thumbsup:

    Sorry the gray one was an 08,dirt streets? i dont get it? and the white one was the 09 only available in Canada or Europe i think
