Fellow VFR riders. Here in middle TN we have Meriwhether Lewis days the 2 weekend in October. Just wondering if anyone would be intrested in a VFR group ride. There is alot of activities, crafts, the worlds longest yard sales about 18 miles long, great food and a lot more stuff. It all ends in Hohenwald TN. The riders in the north could enter the Natchez trace in Nashville and ride to Hohenwald. There is Davy crockett state park for lodging or camping. Just an idea since I am new to sport touring. Any suggestions are welcome.:smile:
I remember that yard sale. Sounds like fun, but I don't know how much you'll be able to carry on the bike. I can't make it, though. I'll be in Hawaii. I think we're gonna try to rent scooters. I'll get some pics of the islands anyway and post them here. Have fun in TN.
2nd week Oct I mentioned this idea to the wife and she said are you crazy!! That would be the worst time to have a bike ride. I guess the traffic would be bad on the Trace. Not to mention a little hazardous.
