Official VFR sighting thread

Silver 5th gen at the Rock Store on Sunday at around 11am. i tried to keep an eye out for the owner but there were just too many other bikes to look at. next thing i knew, you had split. Bummer. One thing troubled me though, you had hung a 1/2 helmet on the throttle while you were inside. seriously? a 1/2 helmet on those mountain roads?

 

I know! If you didn't know how much we like the bikes this Thread could seem weird...it always reminds me of the "I saw You" section in the college paper. You know, "You were the brunette with the Zep t-shirt on, I was the one that smiled and waved. Let's do lunch. Call Bob, 123-4567."

 

And I have a new one too: Tucson, White 6th gen turning N onto Campbell from Grant Monday 5/25 about noon.

 

I see a pretty yellow 5th gen on RR-620 in Austin each morning. Of course if he's reading this then my Silver CBR1100xx or 2nd gen should be immediately recognizable

 

Beatiful anniversary RWB with hard bag provisions parked next to mine over memorial day weekend in the garage in my apartment in Spartan...er Arcadia, SC (Postmaster just gave me a thorough tonguelashing that we are indeed Arcadia LOL)

Saw a yellow '00 heading East on Hwy 78 just outside the bypass in Athens, GA about 2:30pm. Rider wearing a silver/gray jacket. Had never seen another yellow VFR in this area before today...

 

i saw a red 6th gen on i-90 west bound Avon, OH in the rain about 3:45 pm I passed you while riding with a co-worker on red 1098 I was on black 06 vfr honked horn at you. this was on 5-13-09

 

Saw a 4th gen and a 5th gen this morning riding around SE Ohio today.

 

I was pushing Alexandra in her stroller back from the park the other night and my viffer radar went off -BeepBppbittybeeop. I could see underneath a Toyota Landcruiser the bottom 1/4 of a viffer wheel from about 120 meters away.

It was parked outside pizza joint in Allegan MI. To owner: Hows that working out for you, not having a can?

Asheboro, NC Saturday, May 30th. Parked next to an '03, red, factory hard cases, Oxford Grips, aftermarket db windscreen, Conti RA's. Was taking a break from the zoo, for lunch. It was such a well outfitted bike, thought it could be one of us? They had moved on, by the time we came out of the eatery.

2 Sightings.

1) Saturday, 1200, red 5th Gen in New Hope, PA, guy & girl team parked in front of the cigar shop & jewerly store on the main drag. The bike was in immaculate condition.

2) Sunday, 1400, 4th Gen in front of a dive diner in Lakehurst on NJ RT 70.

Burgundy 6th gen stuck in traffic on Hwy 78 on the East side just inside the loop. You looked very warm, but safe in full ATGATT :thumbsup:

 

Saw a RWB 6th Gen on CR530 in front of WaWa & Country Lakes at 1315. The bike was two up & heading towards RT70.

Tuesday, June 2nd sometime in the afternoon stopped at an overlook south of Mt. Mitchell on the Blue Ridge Parkway and pulled next to a 2007 Burgundy VFR. The guy said he had it for about two months, he and his wife ( she was on a Triumph ) were on their way from upstate NY back to Alabama.

 

Saw a couple riding 2-up on a dark grey VF-750 in Konstanz getting ready to board the ferry to Meersburg.

 

Red 5th gen with high pipe (staintune?) on briggs chaney rd is Silver spring MD.
Rider wearing shorts.
