Hi all, I'm new to VFRWorld. Very cool. Great forum, and resource for the best bike made. I just picked up an 01 VFR that was a NYC bike. It was an outdoor bike, bumped and knocked over frequently. But it only has 9k on it, and it runs great. So all the plastic is scratched, and I'm looking for good replacement plastics. Has anyone ever seen these cheap complete sets on ebay (long link) : HONDA VFR800 VFR 800 Bodywork fairing set 98-01 :eBay Motors (item 140323621293 end time Jun-07-09 07:36:44 PDT) Is it cheapie cheap crap and maybe look elsewhere or does it suffice ? you might try cheapestcylceparts.com. They say they're Honda OEM, and they're about 20% cheaper than my Honda "stealership" is quoting me after my '04 got bumped and tipped over in a parking lot last week. All that stuff is outrageously expensive. If I had a bike with more than 10 years and a few scratches on it, I'd be more inclined to patch and paint. Anybody had experience with frame sliders on a VFR?
Frame Sliders Hi, thanx all for your help in replacement plastics. Now that I've ordered new plastics, I wanna protect them.
