    Hi All,

I have noticed that when my bike cold and I engage 1st gear it glides right iin with no "clunk". However, once the bike is warmed up it is quite noticable when say going from neutral to 1st.

Is this normal? Anyone have the same thing happening?http://vfrworld.com/photos/data/743/ne_nau.gif

yep i have a 2006 and when i bought it with 500kms on clock i went to a few bike places and was told that it 'clunked' because it was new but it has done 26000kms now and it hasn't changed so i'm guessing that's just the sound it makes........

All the sport bikes I have ridden do it.

So "clunk" in all gears is normal as long as there's not resistance?
