That sucks! I have dropped a bike or two (or three) and I have to admit, I have never thought of taking a picture before picking it up :)

Sorry to see that, hope it didn't scratch too badly.... Ouch yah at least it wasn't on the road! Well they do say most accidents occur within 6 miles of home or something....or 6 feet haha just kidding. I have come close to dropping it a couple times from grabbing too much front brake while leaned a little doing slow parking hehe.

Seriously, it does suck and I hope it doesnt cost you too much

I'm pretty sure this falls under some form of child abuse and neglect. I'll be contacting your local authorities. :)

Happened to me last year. It didn't fall hard to the ground, more like I had to set it down. I did the same thing, not paying as close attention as I should have pulling into the driveway, and it just let go. I jumped off but couldn't stop it from laying down. A few scratches. Heres the worst part...it's the only thing you're going to see on the bike, you that is, until you get it fixed. And by fixed I mean get new fairings. I'll let you look at the price yourself. I've learned to live with it and hopefully your bike doesn't look bad. Don't beat yourself up too bad...it happens to all of at some point!

Don't worry too much! Funny here people treat machines like "dogs" etc. I dropped many bikes before and after a awhile you realize its just part of being a motorcyclist.
Can you swim without getting wet?Nope! So relax, laugh at yourself and move on!
If you have to post 10 more pictures with your bike on its side then do it.I find it funny people here moaning and groaning about a MACHINE!

Thank god it isnt just me. I have dropped a few bikes a few times. I hate to see the pics, it is like a snuff film or something and I wont scroll up to view again. But it does ease the pain of my newly dented tank ( mine took off in "neutral" recently [never trust the green nuetral light] ) luckily my tank bag covers up 100 percent of the damage. I don't know If I could have left her down long enough to takes pics... er wait. A few reasons I would take pics just came to me...
    1. Insurance
    2. My first bike was too heavy for my skinny ass to pic up on my own ( althogh I know a few tricks to picking em up now )
sorry for your loss if there is any.

At any rate, I am sorry dude. fix what you can and ride happy.

OUCH! I did that once, I feel your pain. One of my riding buddies told me if you start to drop your bike you should stay on it and hope your body (leg) cushions its fall. I did it. not very smart cause you can't get it off of you to pick it back up. Plus it hurt , alot. No permanent injury and I still had to spend $700.00 on replacement plastic. Apparentlt I do not make a good bumper. I am glad he didn't have a camera with him to take a picture of my dumbass pinned under my own bike. He did finally help me get out from under it and pick it up. OH the horror of it all. I have dropped a bike on four occassions i remember everyone of them like it happened yesterday. Each time made me want to cry and be really angry with myself. you gotta live with it and move on. at least no one was hurt. except your pride.
