    pirelli tires

I have pirelli diablo stradas I recently put on my vfr.
Only have about 200 miles on them, but I really like them. Of course, I've only had the viffer for about 8 weeks so.....

They seem to handle and grip quite well, haven't had them in the rain yet.
Had them on some loose stuff recently, a road being stripped down, held grip quite well. Twisties so far no problem.

I guess this is only somewhat helpful, but thats my 2 cents worth:rolleyes:

I just mounted the Diablo Corsa III last week. Tomorrow will be my first real ride with them mounted. I'm planning on doing a ride in the 250-300 mile range. I'll let you know.

My initial feeling is I'm VERY impressed with this tire.

    KC-10 FE out...

Are you referring to the Diablo Corsa IIIs? What are you looking to get out of these tires? Track days?

Not sure I would look a motorcycle tire based on experience with the same manufacturer's auto tires...

yes.corsa 3's. how you think they perform on street ,all conditions, just basically what do you think of them? if you use them..maybe i trackday-riding school not racing, heres what i would do get fresh tires for track day then wear them out on street. In the mean time in sept i may do a cross 3 state ride toward tennesse ark kentucy a circle and wanted to know since they have a long range tire life in middle tread do they wear well and how does the transfer feel when going near the sides ,,, thank you..

I have them on my 999 and love them, would describe them as 70% track, 30% street. if you are only doing street riding I would go with the Diablo Corse or Rosso. IIIs dont come in 170 and wont work with many VFRs, they are 180 and 190. Overkill for the street, awesome on the track

If you ride your machine mostly for commute, and only do a few twisty rides on a weekend day or two a month, probably not the best idea. If you ride your machine for recreational riding and put it through it's paces and do limited freeway miles, then I see no problem with having the best tires you can afford.

Betarace is right corsaIII are more of a track tire. great turn in fantastic grip in wet & dry weather. slightly slower warm up then conti rd attacks but better handling tire much faster wearing then conti RD attacks. i just got slightly over 5000km or 3000miles on rear. tire is now shot. still held it profile very well. i guess thats the advantage of a 3 compound tire. highly recommend tire if your willing to sacrifice mileage for grip and handling. have another set waiting to go on!!
