    ok fellas... I have a question... so 2 1/2 weeks ago I went under the knife and got "fixed" if you will... I was wondering how long I should wait to get back on the bike. the dr. said a few weeks, but wasnt specific, I feel fine, the "area" feels fine. BUt i dont want the vibration from the bike to mess things up. anyone have any advise? thanks! :thumbsup:

    If you had 2-1/2 weeks ago you should be good to go
    just wait untill you get your first case of "gas nut"

    Dr told me if I have no pain or tenderness then ride away. Basically, he left it up to me to make the call.

    I was back doing my usual thing at the end of the second day after the surgery, no probs. I think it depends on how well your body deals with trauma.

    Fantastic choice BTW, I sleep much better KNOWING that my wife and I won't have any surprises!

    Two of my buddies had it reversed (the second wives made them do it). Lots of discomfort and a long recovery period. They said getting clipped was a piece of cake compared to the reversal. So try not to get married a second time (or third, or whatever).

    I was able to ride by day 4 after the procedure.

    yeah, this doesn't sound good man. Glad they didn't say anything about that during the conslut or it would have scared me away.
