Just want to say, I have purchased both the Skur Carbon Fiber Gas Tank Protector and the triple tree protector, and LOVE them. Great pattern, no flaws, and a deep rich clearcoat really makes it look good.

thats not for my bike, and its a bad sample picture, but you get the idea.

I will post pics of them on my bike later tonight.

Just wanted to say, reasonable prices and a great product.

Thanks Hondajt for the good words.

If anyone has any gauge covers that I could use for a template I'll give them one for FREE. I will just need the original gauge cover shipped to me then once I have made my template then I will ship the original back along with one of mine in the same envelope.

I just finished the 94-97 VFR750 gauge cover so if anyone else has any other years just let me know!!! I'm really looking for the 98-05 VFR800 gauge cover.

    Thanks,
    SKUR

I bought a top clamp cover for my 6g, didn't think that it fit really good...filed it in the round file.

The shape of my parts depends on the template that I have since I don't own a motorcycle and do not have access to them. One brand (who I won't name) sold covers that looked hand cut and were not symetrical just by looking at them. One cover I got from them even had the emblem hole cut on the wrong side..... Needless to say I do not purchase from them anymore....

Now if I could get my hands on a bike in person, I get my personally made templates within a tolerance of +/- 0.015" which most people are happy with.

Skur - where do you live and maybe someone would voulenteer to ride over rather than disassemble their bike.

I live in Houston. I wouldn't need the actual speedometer taken off of the bike. I would only need an aftermarket gauge cover that fits correctly. Then I'll get my template and they'll have an extra cover if they want another color or just to switch it out later on.

I just throw the offer out there if anyone has a model that I don't have.
