I just bought 1998 VFR (started a thread on general section)and I noticed that the bike is much harder to make it turn specially if the turn has more lean. It is just not neutral ,the front I suspect needs to be lowered but I am wondering if I can make it turn faster without lowering the forks.

    Thanks guys:thumbsup:

Obviously, you've checked the condition and pressure (with an accurate gauge) of the tyres??

checked or changed fork oil and steering bearings?

I'll check the tires.Interesting that I added more pre load on rear and its turning in lot faster and easier.
I guess I stumbled on solution blindly.

IF that fork oil hasn't been changed in a few seasons ......it may be dirty and done wo' out !

measure the springs when you remove fork caps to see that they haven't sagged below the limits you will find listed in the service manual.
