    Hey Gang,

As the title states, I am a very "green" rider. I have been riding for about two weeks and I have to say I love it!! I am super impressed with my purchase because it isn't so powerful that I can't control it and it isn't so timid that I can't hang with my friends and their 600's. Mine definately is not as fast but it gets the job done. I have been looking at the forums here and like the little collective that has been formed. Upon my viewings, it appears that Mr. Daugherty is the man!! I like to modify things and this bike will be no different. I usually work on computers and cars, not so much with cars though...haha. I would like to say that if I can help you guys in anyway, let me know, however, it is most likely that I will be coming to you for advice due to the fact that I am such a novice. Thank you for having me and have a GREAT DAY!!! BE SAFE OUT THERE!!!

I will echo Drewls comment....don't worry about going fast just think about going, your own pace, what ever you have to do...besides getting somewhere has two ways the fast way or the enjoy the ride way..believe me, that machine you have has enough power in it ....

welcome and good luck with the bike.

I appreciate it. They are pretty good about not leaving me behind and I am still kinda testing her out to see what she can do. That is a super nice bike that you have there. I like the yellow.

Welcome Jimmy. I just picked up the same bike, but with a wiped out engine so I can only look at mine for now. LOL.

Enjoy the bike and the forum. ;)

Thanks VFRDoug. That's a bummer about your VFR but I bet it will be fun to rebuild. :) I know I almost can not wait til winter so that I can do some of the mods I have seen on the forum. I love the concept of a wider rear wheel for this bike. Have a GREAT DAY!!!
