I've been riding my KTM 990 SuperDuke exclusively lately and the VFR (99 version) has been sitting in my shed for over 6 months with no attention. I put in a new battery (original lasted only 10 years on a battery tender. Can you believe it?). Rode it to work and remembered why I've loved this bike for 20,000 miles of great riding. The Duke is great for twisties, but the VFR is just so darn sweet handling and powerful that I'll be sure to get it out more often. If I go for a ride of more than a few hundred miles, it will be the bike of choice. I feel bad for having neglected the bike for so long. I was actually considering selling it the other day because of the lack of riding time.

I understand both issues! My friend has a SuperDuke and a RC8 and they are waaaay fun! But you are right, the Viffer is great too. The more bikes I ride the more I realise that there are many ways to make two wheels be fun.
    So many bikes...so little time!

One bike is never enuff. Geez, I have two bikes and thats not enuff. If you get 4 or 5, now your talking. That would cover about anything you could fathom.

I'm always switching. No bike should go that long between rides.

4 or 5 definetly doesn't cover it. I've got 5 right now. I'm in the process of selling two of them, in part to make room for others. I think many of us would have a small warehouse full of them if we could afford it.

I've got things covered pretty good with my 5. Track slut, road sportbike, dirt, sport touring and adventure touring, but yeah, I always want more.
