Sheila, my 1985 interceptor.

My bike was feeling furious this morning. I am on an older carburated bike, and anyone with carbs knows the weather can make drastic changes. Well, the morning after a good rain usually makes me feel like I had a better night sleep, and apparantly my bike feels the same. She was reving harder and faster then usual, and I had a great ride to work. Just listen to her, here!

This bike is beautiful from every angle, but walking up from behind is my fav, you can really see the curves.

NECK!! I have those exact same handle grips... my wife doesnt like the fact that I have a few different shades of red on my bike. Secretly, I agree with her. Good feeling grips though!

I saw a few other later gen models with this grips this weekend. Wow somethings were done right the first time? hehe. I also saw some green ones on a red bike and I thought they looked like poo. ( no offense if ya got the green ones ).

 

I tried and they said it wasnt legal to marry my bike.

Ah sheit

I just re-looked at that picture. LOL I dont stay THAT drasticly vertical.
The ground was covered in a very fine layer of sawdust, they were repairing where a car ran through the wall near my parking spot. I pulled straight in and thats what we are looking at there. I guess the lighter vs the darker shades on the tire show my actual contact area when standing straight up.

I could use a little more practice on leaning tho, this is my first non-cruiser bike.

Chicken Strips

Here is the new bike and my tires... You can see the progress heh, looks like I am 1/2 inch from the outer edge.... baby steps.
