Womens riding pants

Ok, my loving wife wants/needs a solid pair of pants. I wear Icon Recons. She and i have had zero luck at the dealers to find a pair for her to try on. The Icon size chart says she should get a 28in waitst mans pant and she is not hot on the idea of a leather for daily riding. She tried on 30in Icon and Alpine stars with some luck. She said with a belt she would wear them. Is there any better option for her? I know what pavement feels like and the last thing i ever want is for her to feel it like i i did.

 

Come down here to Columbus and go to Iron Pony. They've got a TON of stuff for her to try on to see what she likes. Find what she likes, then do the internet search to get it for her as Pony is a bit on the expensive side. They have a FANTASTIC selection! I went there with my wife to find her some gear that she likes and fits into, and I'm searching for the best prices on them.

I went to them to try on my gear first, found out what size I needed, then ordered everything on-line.

 

Look into leather with a comfortable liner with some colours she might like(as apposed to black)....They do make quality tex pants that are as good as leather, but they cost big $$$...... Monk

Try the Scorpion Exo wear. They make the same pants in both leather & textile. I saw a chick wearing these at a dealer open house. If your wife is even slightly fashion conscious, she will probably like these.

Olympia makes some good overpants. It's the only stuff that I found that fits me. I have not tried on the Scorpion stuff yet. A*'s fits pretty well since I have an athletic cut. I can not wear Teknic as it's cut to slim in the legs.

I'll second Iron Pony, best selection in that area of the country, I'll be down there in 2 weeks for a look see before heading to Deal's Gap.
