    Fellas,
Did an install of the 2-Brothers chrome-oval exhaust on my '07 this past weekend. REALLY PLEASED. Good looks, good sound (without being ignoraantly loud) and definite power gains. Got is from MOTO LIBERTY here in San Antonio. (Thanks, NATE!) Moto Liberty // #1 gear Store In Texas

ONLY DRAWBACK: The instructions suck! You know how like, if you've bought an outdoor grill or something like that that was made in China, and the instructions are barely readable? This is worse. I've installed more than a few Vance & Hines, and BUB exhausts on my Harelys (yes, I also visit the Dark Side), and I've done it all on my own intuition because it really is a simkple job. But I figured that since this was my first sport bike install, I'd follow the instructions. Big mistake. They left out steps, and worse, they tell you to do things that you have to go back and un-do in order to complete the job. Plus, they shorted me by a few nuts (so i just re-used the OEM nuts) gave me an extra bolt (Hmmmm...what'd I forget???) and a hex wrench in a size that fit absolutely nothing in the package. So between the crappy instructions, the missing parts, the extra parts and the mystery wrench, it took me about 45 minutes longer than it should have to complete the install.

Just for giggles and grins, when I was done, i called the customer service line at 2-Brothers and gently informed them about how poorly the instructions are written. He responds with "That's why the instructions state that the system should only be installed by a qualified mechanic." Man, what a cop out. As riders, we shouldn't be afraid of or discouraged from doing simple-to-moderate stuff on our bikes, and exhaust systems are SIMPLE!

So long story long, my perspective is this: YES, buy the 2-Brothers Racing exhaust system. Good value, well made, good performance. BUT DON'T FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!

    Later,
    Denman

    2-Bros Exhaust Install WITH PICS

Picky, picky, picky! I'm trying to attach some photos I just snapped, but I really tend to suck at this sort of stuff. See if it works...

By the by - this is a 4-into-1 system. Left side pipe is a dummy. And no, it's not the "stash" model. Apparently they've stopped making them in stainless, and the Carbon Fiber is additional gazillion dollars or something like that, and it's not worth the extra dough. I'll just keep using my tank bag.

It's probably just me, but i think 2 Bros should design a system with just 1 pipe...i hate the 'form over function look'. If one pipe is better performance....just put on 1 pipe.

Mine came with 2 spools & bolts but the instructions didn't say what they were for or where. I assume they are for a track stand but since I have a center stand I don't need them.
I also thought the pipe was too close to the body and needed a little 'persuasion' to get the fit right.
I would have added my pics but they are on the other pc, maybe next time.

    Mike,
Those "spools" are spacers that are supposed to be used between the center of the tail section and the cans. I was only able to use one on the dummy side, but strangely enough, both cans appear to be equally spaced when you view my bike from the rear. Go figure.
And also, I agree with you. If it's a 4-1 system, they should sell it as such, or give us the option to purchase it as such. After I installed it, I thought about just removing the dummy pipe, but then I thought to myself "Hell, you paid for the damn thing, may as well use it..." I may still take it off, down the road, just to see how I like it.

    Dennis
