Hello, was wondering if someone can help out. I did a compression test on my 84 last night (since the hydro-locking) and came up with 120-120-120-90. My guess is that the 90 has a bent valve. I will be opening the head up later and hooking up a compressor to test how the valves seat....but I was wondering if anyone here has a few valves for sale? Obviously not bent or unusable ones. Please let me know, thanks!
You can still but new valves if you can't find a used one. $20 intake, $36 exhaust. Check under cam@valve diagram. You can do a leak down test to see which valve or possibly rings. http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/fiche_section_detail.asp
