Anybody going to this track day tomorrow?

Any VFR'ers doing this Veloce Track Day riding event at Buttonwillow tomorrow (Monday)?

I know that it is last minute, but I thought that I'd ask anyways. I'll be there, so if you decide to join, come by to say hello. I'll be in a Honda Ridgeline truck with a red/white/blue 25th Anniversary Honda Interceptor.

Just Got back from Willow springs, need to recover

 

You are fined 5 laps around the bar & must consume an entire case of Natural Light by yourself for referring to the Ridgeline as a "truck".

Where do you live John?

 

I live on the Westside of LA. Just got the bike loaded up and in five minutes I'll be making a beeline for Buttonwillow. I sure hope my bike comes back with all it's paint!

The Veloce track day at Buttonwillow was awesome. Partly cloudy, mild temps, clean track, and a small turnout (meaning not too much traffic). A well run event and well worth the $150 entry fee. Lots of quality time to work on riding style and lots of time for WOT.

So, how do I attach a photo?

 

The easiest way is to up load them to a flicker or photobucket account or in your photo gallery here. If using Photobucket or flicker then just copy the Image code link and paste it into your post reply.

If using the gallery here then right click on the photo to get the properties, copy that and paste it into the little postcard with the mountain button on the top of the reply screen.

 

Check out the opposite steer in the front tire.

I'll try to post another pic or two when I get home tonight. Unfortunately, the track photog only shot the morning sessions (where I was much more conservative) and not the afternoon sessions.

It was my first time ever riding a motorcycle on a race track ... and it was fun!

 

So your track cherry is broken now! I know the feeling Youll just want more now so plan on some later this fall when weather cools back down. Brian
